The Silent Negotiation
Read the room. Read yourself. Run the conversation.

Start Free ModuleI was shadow-coaching a COO when this course started writing itself in my head.
Brilliant guy. Twenty-plus years of running businesses. Open-minded, sharp, the kind of leader who genuinely wanted his people to challenge him. He'd just given a passionate speech to his team — innovation, initiative, bring me your boldest thinking. Good speech. He meant every word.
Then he sat down, leaned back, crossed his arms, crossed his legs, and said: "So. I'm waiting for your ideas."
Eleven people in the room. One discovered a fascinating spot on the ceiling. Another began adjusting his trouser crease with the precision of a neurosurgeon. A third opened her laptop and started typing what I can only assume was a very urgent email to absolutely nobody.
Nobody spoke.
Afterwards, he was genuinely frustrated. "They have nothing to say. I open the floor and they just sit there."
And from his side — he was right. The words were perfect. The intention was real. But his body had delivered a completely different speech. Arms locked, legs locked, weight shifted away from the table. Every nonverbal signal in that room was saying: this conversation is closed.
His team wasn't weak. They weren't even aware of what stopped them — their nervous systems picked up the signal before their conscious minds had a chance to process it. That's how fast this works. Not through analysis. Through something closer to reflex. And on his end — he had no idea he was the one shutting the room down. A good leader, doing the right thing, getting the opposite result. Because of a blind spot nobody had ever shown him.
That moment is why this course exists.
Also — full disclosure — I spent years in sales and HR being confidently wrong about people. Hired the quiet ones too late. Trusted the loud ones too early. Read my own projections instead of actual signals. This course exists because I got tired of paying for that education one mistake at a time. And because I'd rather you make fewer of those mistakes than I did — and get to the part where you're actually effective faster than it took me.
My name is Jarek. I run VeriQ Lab. Enjoy the ride!
Here's what we're going to build together.
Read other people — without turning every conversation into an interrogation.
The mismatch between what someone says, what makes logical sense, and what their body is doing — that's where the real conversation lives. You'll learn to spot it. Calmly. Without announcing that you've spotted it.
Read yourself — the direction nobody teaches.
Your body runs a constant internal broadcast: tension patterns, breathing shifts, posture changes you've never noticed. Neuroscience calls it interoception. We call it the skill that changes Monday mornings. Same neural hardware reads others and reads you. Train one, you sharpen the other.
A method, not a dictionary.
"Crossed arms means defensive" is not a method. It's a shortcut that falls apart the moment someone is just cold. This course gives you an observation framework — baseline, context, clusters — that works across cultures, conversations, and the moment you realize your own body has been lying to the room.
Context as a full module, not a footnote.
Every body language resource says context matters and then moves on. We spend an entire module on it — cultural calibration, neurodiversity, bias, and the hardest exercise in the course: discovering that your interpretation was the problem, not their behavior.
Module 1 is free. Not as a teaser — it's the foundation, and I'd rather you start strong than start paying. If by Lesson 3 you're not looking at every meeting differently, I'll be genuinely surprised.
